Yes!  Every specimen you receive is 100% natural — no fakes, synthetics, or man-made lookalikes.

Some pieces are left completely raw and untouched, showing off their natural crystal structure or formation. Others may be lightly polished or shaped to highlight unique features like color, banding, or luster. We choose each piece based on what best showcases the mineral's beauty.

Whether you love rugged, earthy textures or sleek, display-ready polish, there's something for everyone. You can even let us know your preference in our subscription survey — raw only, polished, or a mix!

Whether you’re brand new to collecting or already have years of experience, this box is designed to excite and inspire. This box provides intermediate specimens that newer collectors probably don't have in their collection.

Beginners will discover high-quality specimens that make it easy to start a meaningful collection, while seasoned collectors will enjoy unique pieces new localities that add depth and variety to what they already have. Each month brings something beautiful and educational, so no matter where you are in your collecting journey, you’ll find something new to love.

In the rare case that an item arrives damaged, we’ll gladly send a replacement or provide a full refund.

What size of specimen can I expect to receive?

Accepted Answer

Most of the specimens you’ll receive are cabinet-sized, meaning they’re large enough to stand out in a display but still small enough to fit comfortably on a shelf or in a case.

Sizes typically range from 5 to 20 centimeters (about 2 to 8 inches) on the longest side, with most pieces falling somewhere in the middle. This includes:

Small cabinet size (approx. 5–10 cm / 2–4 in)
Medium cabinet size (approx. 10–20 cm / 4–8 in)

If I subscribe now, when will my order ship?

Accepted Answer

Orders are processed and shipped on the 15th of each month.

For example, if you subscribe on or before the 14th of September, your first box will ship on the 15th of September.

If you subscribe on or after the 15th, your first box will ship on the 15th of the following month.

If the 15th falls on a weekend or national holiday, your box will ship out the next business day.

What is your cancellation policy?

Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime before the next billing date.
If you're on a 3-month or 6-month plan, you may cancel future renewals at any time. However, once your plan begins, it will run its course and you’ll continue receiving the remaining boxes in your term.
